Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Thailand is at the top of the list of places I’d like to retire. There are plenty of reasons for this, and its many festivals are a one of them. Of all of the festivals, the one I want to see the most is the Chiang Mai Lantern Festival held during Loy Krathong on the full moon of the 12th lunar month – which is usually in November.

Do you want to learn more about the Loy Krathong Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai. You can do so here.

  1. Never hear about it, but seems to be gorgeous. In our world, there are many happenings, which we do not know. Let’s take for example Finland where we have every year Samba Carnival in Helsinki:

    Happy new week!

    1. In my opinion, this is the wonderful thing about blogging … discovering hidden treasures around the world through ordinary people.

I’ll give the Samba Carnival in Helsinki a look. Thanks.
